Hidden costs to watch for
- No public prices since 2026: the last published rates were $275/mo for Standard and $325/mo for Pro, billed annually, with a few users included. Your quote may differ.
- Extra users: when Workiz last listed them (until August 2026) they cost $55/mo each on Standard and $65/mo on Pro, billed annually.
- Genius Phone, Genius Answering and Genius Marketing are sold separately, even though the phone system is Workiz's best-known feature.
- Monthly billing costs more: Workiz's own FAQ says annual plans save $400+ a year.
- Card readers are sold separately, card payments carry processing fees, and subscription prices exclude sales tax.
How Workiz pricing works
Workiz sells three plans (Standard, Pro and Ultimate), and since 2026 none of them has a public price. Every plan on the pricing page leads to a Request pricing button and a demo booking. There's a 7-day free trial with no credit card, and Workiz's FAQ says annual billing saves $400+ compared to paying month to month.
That wasn't always the case. Workiz published prices for years, then spent the first half of 2026 switching them on and off before moving every plan to quotes. Price tracking archives show the last published rates and when each disappeared, which gives you a realistic starting point for a negotiation.
The last prices Workiz published
The figures below come from public archives of Workiz's pricing page. They are not current list prices, but they show where Workiz's quotes started this year:
- Standard: $275/mo billed annually, last shown in May 2026
- Pro: $325/mo billed annually, last shown in May 2026
- Ultimate: never priced publicly ("Let's talk")
- Extra users: $55/mo on Standard and $65/mo on Pro, billed annually, shown until August 2026
Plans included the first few users in the base price. Workiz also dropped two cheaper options along the way: a free Lite plan (up to 2 users) in April 2026 and the Kickstart plan ($225/mo) in June 2026. If you see those plans in older reviews, they no longer exist.
Standard vs Pro vs Ultimate: which plan fits?
Standard fits a small, growing team that needs scheduling, jobs, estimates, online payments and QuickBooks integration, with 5 automations for follow-ups and reminders. It has no roles and permissions, no multi-location support and no flat rate pricing.
Pro is the plan most growing shops should compare against. It adds Genius Leads and Genius Scheduling (Workiz's AI tools for lead handling and booking), multi-location management, roles and permissions, performance pay for techs, custom reports and 10 automations.
Ultimate is built for multi-location teams and franchises. It adds flat rate pricing, multi-day jobs, service plans, sales proposals, inventory, checklists, equipment tracking, purchase orders, franchise management, Open API and Zapier, and 30 automations. If you need flat rate pricing or service plans, you need Ultimate, which is a big jump for a small HVAC or plumbing shop.
The add-ons that change your real cost
Genius Phone. Workiz is best known for its phone system: calls, texts and email in one place, call recordings and transcripts, and call tracking from lead to job. Workiz's pricing table lists it as sold separately, so ask for it in the quote if calls drive your business.
Genius Answering. The AI answering add-on picks up calls, SMS, email and web forms 24/7 in English, Spanish and French and can book jobs. It's also sold separately.
Genius Marketing. Reputation management and marketing tools are another separate add-on.
Payments and hardware. Card readers are sold separately, card payments carry processing fees, and subscription prices exclude sales tax where it applies.
How Workiz compares on price
Workiz's last listed Standard price ($275/mo) sits above the entry plans of the tools that still publish prices. Jobber starts at $29/mo for one user (Core, billed annually). Housecall Pro runs $59, $149 and $299/mo billed annually for Basic, Essentials and MAX. Service Fusion is $245/mo flat with unlimited users. At the top, ServiceTitan and FieldEdge are also quote-only; see our FieldEdge pricing guide for how its plans compare.
The case for paying Workiz's price is the phone stack: few competitors offer calling, recording, call tracking and AI answering inside the same platform. If your shop doesn't run on inbound calls, Housecall Pro or Jobber will usually cost less for the same core scheduling and invoicing. Our Workiz vs Housecall Pro comparison goes plan by plan.
How to get a fair Workiz quote
Go in with an exact headcount, office staff included, because users are now folded into the quote. Ask for the phone system and any Genius add-ons to be priced in the same quote, not added later. Ask for annual and monthly prices side by side, since annual saves $400+ a year by Workiz's own numbers. And use the last published rates above as your reference: if a Standard quote comes in well above $275/mo for a small team, ask why.
Bottom line
Workiz pricing is quote-only in 2026, but you're not going in blind. Its last published rates were $275/mo for Standard and $325/mo for Pro billed annually, extra users ran $55 to $65/mo, and the phone, AI answering and marketing tools cost extra. Use the 7-day trial, get every add-on in the written quote, and compare it against Housecall Pro's published prices before you sign. Our Workiz review covers the platform itself.
